Thomsonfly has been created in recognition of the changing needs of travellers and holiday makers in the UK and throughout Europe. Their objective is to provide more choice, more flexibility and more opportunity by offering inspiring destinations, attractive schedules and, very importantly, low fares.
Thomsonfly is a trading name of Britannia Airways Limited ("Britannia"). Britannia is part of the world of TUI, the largest travel and tourism business in the world.
Thomsonfly’s aircraft are operated by Britannia. Britannia is one of the largest holiday airlines in the world, operating over thirty modern Boeing aircraft from around twenty UK airports to 96 destinations in 37 countries.
Founded at Luton in 1962 as Euravia, becoming Britannia two years later, the airline has always been at the forefront of new services and innovations on board.
Britannia recognises the importance of on-time performance. Over the last five years Britannia's average delay has fallen by half as a result of new initiatives it has undertaken, and the percentage of flights leaving within 60 minutes of the schedule departure time has risen to 90.9.
Britannia was awarded the Investors in People award in recognition of its commitment to training and development. The award has since been renewed twice and Britannia remains the only major airline to hold it.
All Thomsonfly aircraft are modern 737-500 aircraft with 131 seats
