Resorts are generally quite expensive. Extra charges have to be paid for most of the amenities and facilities provided by the management – sometimes even for parking. And alcoholic beverages can be fairly expensive at the bar. Families with lively, noisy children may not be quite the company that honeymoon couples find comfortable to have around. Residents with disturbing neighbors should insist on being shifted to more peaceful accommodations.

These establishments are not as large (or as expensive) as the resorts, but are considerably larger than an inn. Most of them are set in some of the most beautiful natural surroundings. Those interested in outdoor activities will have a wide variety of options to choose from.
AGAINST
Lodges are quite popular with families, so romantically inclined couples may not find the atmosphere quite up to their requirements. Though the food is reasonably good, it is quite far from gourmet quality.

Some of the better Inns have been around for quite a while and their reputation stands them in good stead. Their traditional charm and hospitality are renowned. The food they serve is excellent. High standards are maintained to keep up their good name. Most of them are furnished with genuine antiques as well as copies.
AGAINST
Being much smaller in size than the resorts and lodges, inns are not in a position to provide much by way of additional facilities. Most have fixed times during which meals are served. Those interested in midnight snacks will have to either look elsewhere or control their hunger till morning.
